Cake Décor Gold Cake Lace Kit

Transform your home baking with this fantastic Gold Cake Lace Kit from Cake Décor’s Craft Range. It is ready to use and will instantly transform your baked creations into something spectacular.

This kit contains a 150g tub of a glistening gold cake lace mix that requires no mixing. As well as a silicone mat, that features 8 unique shapes for moulding your cake lace decorations. Simply follow the instructions, that are included on the kit, and you will have stunning cakes in no time at all!

This all natural kit has No Artificial Colours, No Artificial Flavours and No Hydrogenated Fats.

Ingredients

Water, Flavouring, Acidity Regulator (E330 Citric Acid). Processing Aid (E555 Potassium Aluminium Silicate). Preservative (E202 Potassium Sorbate). Colours (E171 Titanium Dioxide, E172 Iron Oxide).

Instructions

Directions for use:

  1. Preheat your oven 80-90◦C
  2. Spread the lace mix evenly onto the silicone mat supplied with a pallet or flat sided knife, ensure the mix coats all shapes
  3. Remove any excess by lightly scraping the silicone mat and return unused lace mix to the pot for future use
  4. Place the filled mat into the pre-heated oven for approximately 12-14 minutes
  5. Remove the mat from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes
  6. Check your Cake Lace is ready by gently peeling the edge from the mat, if the lace is not peeling from the mat place back in the oven for 2 -5 minutes
  7. Gently peel the dried Cake Lace from the mat and place on to a clean surface
  8. To fix your Cake Lace to cupcakes gently place the shape onto the frosting, or for sugar paste or fondant topped cakes lightly brush the surface with water and stick the lace shape to the surface and allow to dry.
  9. To store Cake lace shapes, keep shapes at room temperature in an air tight container.
  10. Cake Lace can also be air dried– follow steps 1 to 3 above. Allow your filled Cake lace mould to dry at room temperature for 8-12 hours before peeling and using.
